Background

Professional History

Troy was called to the bar in 2020.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Science, and is currently studying a Master of Laws. He lives in Brisbane and appears in courts in all states and territories.

Troy has extensive experience in state crime having led the Queensland Police trial module in Brisbane as the Principal Prosecutor. He possesses unique life skills gained also as a detective investigating significant and major crimes, including local government corruption, homicides, sexual offences, assaults, property, and serious drug matters.

In addition, Troy has served in the Army Reserve and is currently a sessional member of the Local Government Councillor Conduct Tribunal and the Veterans’ Review Board.
