Background

Kathryn was admitted as a legal practitioner in 2018 and called to the bar in 2026. She has a personal injuries practice, with a particular focus on pursuing compensation for plaintiffs suffering occupational dust diseases.

Prior to being called to the bar, Kathryn was a Senior Associate at a national plaintiff personal injuries firm, where she conducted a diverse portfolio of dust diseases claims across the country. During this period, Kathryn had conduct of the first claim for a coal miner with a lung injury to go to judgement in Australia (Keogh v CPB Contractors Pty Ltd & Ors), securing an outcome of more than $3.2 million, including an award of $750,000 for general damages. During her tenure as a solicitor, Kathryn also had conduct of other personal injuries litigation, including claims for victims of childhood institutional abuse and catastrophic injuries arising from motor vehicle incidents.

Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from Griffith University.
