Thea was called to the bar in 2024 and worked at the employed bar as a regulatory prosecutor until coming to the private bar in 2026. She has lengthy experience in prosecutions and advocacy on behalf of various state government agencies, especially the Attorney-General and the Workers’ Compensation Regulator.

Prior to her first call to the bar, Thea worked at Crown Law and the Office of Industrial Relations in a range of matters including mental health orders and reviews, Dangerous Prisoners (Sexual Offenders) Act matters, and various prosecutions. She also worked as Special Counsel on the Paradise Dam Commission of Inquiry.

Thea has a broad practice with a particular interest in crime, administrative, family and mental health-related areas.
